The exhibition forms part of the celebrations marking twenty-five years since the publication of the first book featuring the character “O Menino Triste” \u2014 The Sad Boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When a child is denied the chance to grow up in his mother’s arms, or sees his dreams cut short by something outside his understanding, he risks becoming a sad child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Sad Boy<\/em> is the story of one such child.
