With striking artwork, this is a book that reaches well beyond horror and surprises the reader at every turn \u2014 because you never know what you might find inside a closed book, or on the next page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While the eagerly awaited sequel, More Tales from Nevermore<\/em>, is still to come, readers can explore this steadily expanding classic universe through the various interactive elements the book offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because Vincent the raven is always waiting for new residents to join his cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tales from Nevermore<\/em> received the Revelation Award at Amadora BD 2025 and the Adamastor Prize for Fantastic Fiction in Comics at F\u00f3rum Fant\u00e1stico; the awards for Debut Work and Best Comics Edition at the Vinhetas d’Ouro 2025; Best Comic by a New Author at the Geeks d’Ouro 2026; Best Comics Production at the Central Comics trophies 2026; and the Achievement Award for Best Comic Book or Graphic Novel from the European Science Fiction Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pedro N. (Porto, b. 1986)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pedro Nascimento, also known as Pedro N., is an illustrator, storyboard artist and comics author. He works largely for the international market, chiefly as an illustrator of covers, book interiors and RPG titles. In 2023 he was one of the winners of the international Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n His interest in horror, fantasy and science fiction led him to create Tales from Nevermore<\/em>, an anthology of short horror stories. Although built on original premises, the book sets out to pay homage to some of the genre’s classic authors, weaving in a range of references that readers will not fail to spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Manuel Monteiro (Beja, b. 1987)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Manuel Monteiro has been part of the team behind the Beja International Comics Festival since 2012. He took the comics course at the Museu Bordalo Pinheiro and, in 2021, began contributing his own comics to the fanzine Venham Mais Cinco<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He holds a master’s degree in Film Project Development from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema at the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute. Before his first degree he had already worked on a range of film projects, and he continues to develop new ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He has directed four documentaries: Metamorfose<\/em> (2021), Re-Route 66<\/em> (2020), Poucum Habilis<\/em> (2020) and Jos\u00e9 Ruy \u2013 Uma Forma de Respirar<\/em> (2018).
